Vernon Jones

Vernon Jones is a professional square dance caller who started calling in 1978. He calls SSD, Mainstream, Plus, and Advanced. He also does easy line dances and cues easy round dances.

He belongs to several caller organizations, including CALLERLAB, for which he is a past chair of the board. He has also served on the Executive Committee and is currently serving on the Board of Governors.

He also belongs to both the North Texas Callers Association and the Texas State Callers Associations, having served both organizations in many positions, including president.

He was elected to the Texas Callers Hall of Fame in 2011.

Vernon conducts many square dance parties for corporations, family reunions, wedding receptions, and many other different functions.
