John & Liz Hand

John Hand started square dancing back in 1977 with Joliet Squares. He met his wife Liz at a dance in 1978, and they have been dancing ever since. John’s 46-year career in health care at his local hospital kept him too busy to pursue his interest in round dance cueing, but after retiring, he has eagerly taken up the challenge. He and his wife stay very busy with dance weekends and camping with their National Square Dance Campers Association chapter. They are also members of Roundalab and the Missouri Round Dance Association.
